Link to Microsoft Excel
This add-on facility provides an easy way to extract data from Encore for more detailed analysis by creating a permanent link between a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and the data tables in one or more Encore company files.
Running the Excel link program sets up an add-in to Excel that creates a number of new spreadsheet functions. Using these new functions, you can then set up your spreadsheet to automatically pull in data from a specified Encore company file.
The links to Encore are permanently saved in the Excel file - each time you open the spreadsheet, it automatically loads the specified current data from Encore.
The new Excel functions provided by the add-in cover a wide range of data within Encore, including fields from the Nominal Ledger, Customer Accounts, Supplier Accounts and the Product file.
